Youtube.com VS. Myvideo.de - is short little film on the phone
Both Youtube and Myvideo have launched mobile services. What these and how do they work?
Youtube on the phone:
with the WAP browser to surf m.youtube.com and off you go. First, a warning that the mobile retrieving videos cost a lot cause kann.Das interface is presented with a brown background. It presents some recommended videos. Furthermore, there are the search and the search for categories.
Extras:
it is not the complete range to choose from
Videos can only be streamed, not downloaded so be
streaming is not running on the WAP Flat (but if someone should find a way to comment, please, merci)
Myvideo on the phone:
on wap.myvideo.de appears Myvideo usual corporate design. Also here are some movies advertised and offered a search.
Extras:
The complete range is available
films can be downloaded
Conclusion: the solution of Myvideo seems to me better, but I actually prefer the content available at Youtube. Secure (switch UMTS!) But both are nice pastime.
War limited the current highly mobile surfing, there is now the new Opera Mini 4 browser. This makes it possible to display web pages complete. Furthermore, an integrated mouse function to the feeling you use a full-fledged browser strengthened. are more features:
websites
Display complete mouse function
scrolling with the buttons 2,4,6,8
speed surfing by reducing the amount of data
CSS support
RSS support
photos blogging
files such as a PC download
Like all Opera Mini browser is also this about the Opera server. This means that you can not directly access the site. Rather, they send the request to the Opera server, these contacts the desired URL, converts the images small, and sends the smaller version to the phone.
Conclusion: In addition to full-fledged camera, the K800i by the opera mini 4 browser is slowly but surely a full-fledged surfing clients. Another tip: The applications are the best on the K800i and organizer not using the File Manager link it with the soft keys.
one other way: Internet access block at the Sony Ericsson K800i O2
The small button on the left side cell phone is something unfavorable, so that they are often pressed accidentally. The easiest way is to disable and delete all Internet accounts. can
settings
compounds
Internet settings
delete all except the MMS profile
is what went wrong is, both the
MMS settings
and the
Internet settings by: disable Internet button O2 can send.
Wapflat settings (Surf and Email Pack configuration)
The Surf and Email Pack actually, only WAP pages are called. But as it now gives the WPA2 standard and this technology is indistinguishable from html pages, can be "normal" web sites are visited on this add-on package. To ensure that all traffic runs on the Flat, but it does make some advanced settings. If this first set is roughly the simple principle: What you see, is included - do not see what is not.
K800i up for Wapflat:
in data transmission, the data select accounts. Here are mostly already predefined some accounts. At the end should remain only on O2 O2 Wap GPRS and MMS. All others can be deleted. Those who want to play it safe, can also delete all the necessary accounts and configure itself. But is actually not necessary ...
O2 Wap GPRS Then select and change the APN as indicated above. The rest is blank. DNS and IP are with "..." provided, authentication to "PAP" position.
This is the work of the accounts settled.
the Internet settings, Internet profile o2 WAP GPRS (also delete all but MMS and WAP) or create a new profile.
with the O2 WAP GPRS data account to connect
and the following Settings (username and password left blank)
Comments: How do I know that this works? I run my K800i so and so far everything has been properly settled on the Flat. However, I would like to point out that this is suggestions and experiences. There is no guarantee it. For Suspicious applies: first little surf and wait for the bill. There is little help it but still: Just surfing
with the phone on
http://sputnicks.de/tools/ipwml.php
. This page checks the IP and check that the settings are correct.
Wapflat O2-Patcher (or how I use the Surf & E-mail pack with external programs)
The entry into the big wide world of mobile internet for 4.99 € you can find here or at best BigBasti . However, if you own on Programs and meets the O2 will get Wapflat-fit can also use the Patcher. This small program, the Sun Java Wireless Toolkit needed and get going.
First of all: a classic screenshot is not possible. While there are many tools to take screenshots of mobile phones, but unfortunately these condition the Symbian operating system . Since the K800i supports only j2me programs , so unfortunately they are not applicable. If you find a j2me compatible tool, may disagree with me please:) Now there but next to the classical detour via an external camera (digital camera, scanner, what I know ...) also the possibility the mobile simulator on the Sony Ericsson to use home page. Here the functions are limited. Nevertheless, even with this way may very useful results. The images in this report originate from the mobile simulator.
K800i Mobile blogging with the K800i on O2 blogger.com
The phone has a nice feature to send photos directly to a blog at blogger.com. Here is a demo of how it is supposed to work.
So you send a photo first time blogger is actually a text roll along with the data you can log in to go.blogger.com should and will get access to the newly created blog. This works for many, not many. In I got nothing at all. So what to do if an SMS comes into the K800i?
Finding your own mobile blog at blogger.com
The blog address to send to the support and send a claim token can
the set up their own blog or device (cell phone) to an already assign existing blog
to find one's own blog posting best a picture which you can still show the world (all blogs as default public) and selects are developing a unique headline. Either take cryptic strings (merken!) or grouping together words meaningless. are then this heading on the search page blogger. By their own headline appears here can schonmal a day pass. Now you can visit his own blog and has top of the browser address bar the address.
If you have the address, send it to support@blogger.com. I still have my IMEI added, do not know how important that is.

who wants only mobile blogging and do not always post a picture may also want to draw this graph on his cell phone, they select the File Manager and return to the blog. Due to the size of 1x1 pixels, it is possible to blog without photos.
Oh, this service runs on the O2 Wapflat ...
Here is my correspondence with the support:
Dear Madam or Sir,
I tried to use the integrated "send to blog" feature included in the K800i > from Sony Ericsson. I read a lot of groups # in which people from germany describe that they did get it working. But in my case, I just do not receive an answer (Claim Token).
It would be most kind of you to let me know how I get this started or if you could send me a claim token directly =)
Phone: +49 xxx xxxxxxxx Provider: O2 Germany
Sincerely yours
Hi
Thanks for writing in. If you could please respond with your SMS alias (e.g.: @mobile.mycingular.com), we can further investigate the difficulties you are experiencing. One way to find your correct alias is to send an SMS message to your email address and observe the From: field of the email.
Sincerely, Brenna The Blogger Team
Hi Brenna, Thanks for the quick response =) Unfortunately I´m unable to send SMS to E-Mail adresses. I sent a MMS. Perhaps this might be helpful (I hope so...)
o2.xxxxxxxxxxxx@mms.o2online.de
Sincerely,
Hi, thank you for adding my MMS alias but my problem isn´t solved =( I also got my SMS-Alias but I don´t wish to publish by sending Emails or MMS. My mobile Phone, the K800i from SE, has an integrated Blog button. By means of this I should be able to send a picture taken by me directly to a blog. The first time this happens I should receive an SMS. But this never happend. Is there any possibility to use this function?
my IMEI is xxxxxxxx-xxxxx-x-xx my Sms-Alias is xxxxxxxxxxx@o2online.de
Sincerely
Hi,
Thanks for following up and I apologize for the delayed response. If you cannot find the reply message from Blogger containing your mobile blog URL and claim token, do a search through your message inbox. You should have received a message from "Blogger," with the content:
To edit your blog, use your computer to go to this page:
http://go.blogger.com/
Claim token (type of password): [TOKEN] Blog address: http://subdomain.blogspot.com/
If you can't find such a message, try accessing you Bookmarks to see if there is an entry titled, "My Blog.” This bookmark should have your mobile blog URL.
If neither of these suggestions do the trick, you can search on the web to try to locate your blog, searching for words or phrases you used in your mobile blog posts.
Please respond with the URL of the blog to which your mobile device is posting.
Sincerely, Brenna The Blogger Team
